Lovely "Lady Carissa C" (no dA account yet) wanted this done as a tattoo and asked me to revisit and edit a few things so I scanned the original again went to work on it.



Request description:
"I love the face of the lion and I wouldn't change anything of the picture already, I would just rather it have an outline and the shading not so chunky, as in gradual fading from white and black, I also like it but I was wondering if you could make it more dark, as in dramatic and gaunt like, and maybe have the leaves a bit less lively(pointy and they can have pieces of them missing), the lion's left eye is a smushed so maybe if you could fix it's ortibal bone, haha, and make him look a bit more sickly / gaunt as I already said, not make his face thinner though, you made it amazingly and I could never draw that as well, I am in love with lion king and this takes a childhood movie complex and makes it more dramatic so I love love love this. "
